EN ISO 20471
This standard indicates that the product meets reflective standards required for hi vis garments. Most jackets will be Class 3, you will need to check the minimum requirement of the site you work at.
Waterproof Properties
If you need a waterproof jacket then ensure that it is rated EN343 Class 3 or higher, you can find out more about EN343 on our Hi Vis Waterproofs page.
Breathable
EN343 will also tell you how breathable the garment is, preventing perspriration build up. Also look for features such as vented under arms which can help control heat build up.
Cuff Style
Cuffs on Bomber jackets range in styles, from elasticated cuffs to velcro tightend cuffs with neoprene inner cuffs. Each type has its benefits and trade offs.
Hood
Do you need a hood on your jacket, if so look for one that you can remove if required, or pack down into the collar. A good quality hood will be adjustable and feature a liner.
