Quality Stainless Steel Hose Clips & Clamps
Stainless Steel Hose Clamps, For Corrosive Environments
If you need a hose clip for use in an environment that is hostile to metals and prone to corrosion, then a stainless steel hose clip is just what you need. These stainless hose clips can perform much longer than their mild steel hose clip counterparts without corroding.
We stock two grades of stainless steel clip; these include 304 and 316 stainless steel. 304 stainless steel is ideal for rust-prone areas, whereas 316 suits marine, oil and gas production environments. You can also use them in hard-to-reach areas where replacing a damaged clip would be impractical or costly.
With a wide selection of stainless steel hose clips available, we almost certainly have a solution on the shelf that suits your requirements. Whether you work in a food production plant or on an oil rig, you will find a stainless steel hose clip suitable for your needs.

Key Features and Benefits Of Stainless Steel Worm Drive Clips

Superior Corrosion Resistance
Compared to zinc-protected hose clips, stainless steel clips offer much more corrosion resistance, giving them at least a four times longer lifespan in most instances.

Easy To Use
Our hose clips are simple to operate with off-the-shelf common hand tools such as a flat-bladed screwdriver or socket.

Forgiving Sizing
With built-in adjustability, each clamp has a range of adjustments, meaning you can always get a clamp that will fit your application.

Continuously Threaded
These variants feature a continuously threaded band, such as the mild steel multiband straps and mild steel quick-release straps. These are great for carrying when you do not know what size post or hose you need to clamp to.

Rolled Edges
With Jubilee clips specifically having a rolled inside edge with a smooth finish, you can use them on even the softest hoses without fear of cutting.
Do I Need Stainless Steel? And Which Stainless Grade Do I Need?
What grade of stainless steel clip you need primarily depends on the environment in which you will use the clip rather than the industry. A stainless steel clip offers a longer working lifespan before corroding compared to mild steel. This durability can be seen when comparing the different materials' NSS test results. An NSS test involves spraying the clips with a salt spray in a 35°C environment until they develop red rust. It is worth noting that every 240 hours is roughly equivalent to 60 years of use in a UK urban environment.
Mild Steel Hose Clips
- NSS Test Results: Achieve 240 hours minimum in an NSS test. Meaning they will last plenty long enough in most applications.
- Applications: Agricultural, Vehicle Maintenance, DIY, Industrial, Automotive, Ventilation & Electrical.
304 Stainless Steel - Stainless Steel
- NSS Test Results: Achieves 1000 Hours minimum in an NSS test; this makes them ideal for areas where corrosion poses a significant risk.
- Applications: Suitable for use in the following areas wherever there is a higher need for corrosion resistance: agricultural, industrial, food production, oil and gas, ventilation and manufacturing.
316 Stainless Steel - “Marine Grade”
- NSS Test Results: Achieves 2000 Hours minimum in an NSS test. This makes it suitable for areas where corrosion would be a significant ongoing problem.
- Applications: Suitable for marine applications, including shipbuilding, favoured by the oil and gas industry for its incredible corrosion resistance.
