Our Carters Manmade hickory claw hammer comes in two different weights and is ideal for those that prefer a traditional style hammer—featuring a steel forged head with a bright, striking face and rear claw face, in either a 16oz or 20oz weighting.

The striking face of these hammers is perfect for knocking in nails or for use with chisels and other tools. The rear of the head features a claw designed for pulling nails and similar fixings out during demolition or renovation projects.

When choosing your claw hammer, you can choose from this premium A-grade wooden hickory handle, a fully forged one-piece claw hammer, a fiberglass handle or a tubular steel handle.

Head Weight

Choose between a 16oz (0.45kg) or 20oz (0.57kg) head weight. A heavier head will allow you to drive larger nails into position easily but may be too brutal for smaller fixings.
