Carters Shocksafe Insulated 9 Prong Industrial Ballast Fork BS8020
If you need an insulated fork for moving and loading ballast, tarmac and other aggregates, then this Shocksafe Ballast Fork with nine prongs should be your first choice. With its dished head and chisel-style prongs, it easily cuts through gravel and scoops, allowing fast and easy loading of coarse aggregates.
The handle of this 9-prong ballast fork is made from an insulating fibreglass with a polypropylene coating that makes it lightweight and, most importantly, compliant with BS8020:2011, meaning it can be used around live infrastructure or where there may be buried cables carrying up to 10,000V.
This fork's blade features nine prongs explicitly designed to cut through stone aggregates and ballast. Their chisel shape parts stone whilst the dished blade makes scooping controlled and manageable, making light work of loading vehicles or distributing gravel.
