Procity Silaos Accessibility Bench For People With Restricted Mobility
The Silaos collection is Procity’s most eco-responsible collection, proudly sporting PEFC-certified timber, recycled plastic, and water-based stain, this collection was created so the group could continue doing good for the environment whilst continuing to provide high-quality, aesthetic products.
The Procity Silaos Mobility Bench is very similar in design to the Silaos Bench, maintaining the collection’s values while offering an option for those with limited mobility, such as the elderly and expecting mothers. This accessible bench is constructed with ease of use and accessibility in mind.
Silaos street furniture is resistant for the long term, requiring very low maintenance, and the recycled plastic version requires no maintenance at all.

The bench aids those with limited mobility in several ways:

Optional Accessories
Armrests limit the number of pedestrians able to use the bench at any one time but increase users’ comfort, and in the case of the elderly and people who need assistance with their mobility, armrests improve their ability to get off and onto the bench with ease. We recommend 1 armrest for 1200mm long benches and 2 armrests for 1800mm benches.
Footrest
A bar connects the two forelegs, increasing structural integrity, and acting as a footrest.
