The Cresco CR001 Handheld Spreader is a great multipurpose spreader ideal for smaller areas when spreading rock salt, fertiliser, and lawn seed. It is very affordable and made by a reputable brand that is well known in the seeding and spreading industry for its reliability and quality.
The handheld spreader holds up to 3kg of rock salt, 2.7kg of fertiliser, or 2.5 litres of grass seed, making it ideal for hand use. To dispense your seed or salt, you crank the handle on the side of the spreader, which spins a disk inside the base of the hopper, flinging seed or grit wherever it is required, covering a wide area.
