Cresco Seeder SRS Single Row Seeder
The Cresco Seeder SRS is an innovative and easy-to-use seeder that is designed to insert seeds into the ground at set intervals and in a straight line without having to resort to back-breaking work or manually measuring between planting points.
This simple-to-use seeder comes with a range of seed plates, which allow you to choose the correct planting interval for the type of vegetable or flower that you are planting. Supplied complete with a kickstand that will enable you to keep the machine upright between runs.
The Cresco CRSRS line seeder works by cutting a channel in the ground using a blade at the midpoint. While this is happening, the seed plate rotates through the hopper, gathering seeds and dropping them down at set intervals. The chain behind the blade then covers the seeds over, ready for the extra-wide rear wheel to pass, compacting the soil.
Key Features of the SRS Seeder
Adjustable Depth Setting
The blade at the middle of the machine can be adjusted to cut deeper into the soil, allowing you to tailor the planting depth to the seeds being used.
Distance Marker
A fold-out, adjustable distance marker allows you to follow the previous planting line, ensuring adequate distances are maintained for optimal plant growth.
Stand
When not in use, a simple fold-over stand can be deployed to keep the seeder upright, preventing seeds from spilling or falling over when in storage.
Multiple Seed Disks
Ten different seed disks are supplied so you can confidently plant the most common fruit and vegetable types.
See Through Seed Hopper Lid
Ensure you never run short of seed while planting and that your seeds stay dry.
Extra Wide Rear Wheel
The extra wide rear wheel ensures that the soil you pass over is compacted back into place after seeding.
Heavy-Duty Chain
The larger and more robust chain used on this machine helps drag soil back over the trench carved by the blade, covering the seed simultaneously.
