Black Bull Hybrid Flexible Impact Protection Posts
These posts are part of the Black Bull Hybrid Flex Impact Protection System, which offers exceptional impact protection. This flexible system has all the advantages of a steel system with none of the drawbacks. The system is designed to perform similarly to the crumple zone on a car, allowing it to absorb impacts. Unlike a car crumple zone, the Black Bull Hybrid Railing will return to its resting position after a collision.
The flexible lateral beams of the railing system are combined with sturdy steel posts mounted onto a shock-absorbing foot. This allows the barrier system to arrest vehicles and equipment without causing damage as it won't excessively stress the floor. This makes the system ideal for use in warehouses, where it can protect walkways, machinery, stock and personnel. The beams are manufactured from robust and durable polypropylene. They can deform and return to their original shape without losing their strength. You can save time and money by installing this system as everything is surface mounted. A quick installation means minimal downtime is required whilst the railing is installed.
- Easy Installation - You can install the system quickly without specialist equipment. All that is required is a durable floor surface and commonplace tools.
- Reduces Floor damage - The flex foot system works to prevent fixings from being “popped” out of the floor, reducing costly repairs that often are required with railing systems. The foot offers up to 10° of worry-free deflection.
- Flexible Railings - The lateral rails are made from abrasion-resistant PP plastic. This can repeatedly flex and withstand impacts and return to its original form.
- Durable Upright Posts - All the posts in the system are fabricated from heavy-duty steel that has been powder coated.
- Suitable For Indoor & Outdoor Use - We can supply the steel components in the kit in either a galvanised then painted finish which we recommend for outdoor use, or a simple powder coated finish which is ideal for use indoors.
- Modular Construction - The modular design of this railing system ensures that you can quickly achieve complex layouts. There are three lengths of railing available for ultimate flexibility.

Choosing The Right Post For The Right Position
All the posts feature the same shock-absorbing foot which helps to mitigate floor damage in the event of an impact.

Corner posts
These should be used whenever you need to turn a corner. They have connection points at 90 to each other.
Centre Posts
These posts are for a straight through connection. They have beam connectors on either side of the post. They should be used in the middle of a railing run.
