If you have a JSP Force 8 Mask or Force 10 mask and work in dusty environments with organic gas vapours, then these JSP Press To Check A2P3 filters may be just what you need. An activated carbon layer within the filter enables it to remove organic vapours and gasses with boiling points 65°C, whilst the standard filter component can filter out fine dust.
These award-winning filters feature JSP’s Press-To-Check technology, which allows you to quickly test the fit of your respiratory system each time you wear it by gently pinching the filter casing and closing off the air supply. You should then try to inhale; if when you do this, you can hear air leaking in or can breathe in still, this means you have a leak.
These filters feature an enclosed design that protects the filter medium from impacts and water splashes. In addition to the enclosed structure , a one-way valve within the cartridges prevents exhaled breath-containing moisture from degrading the filter material, ensuring you are always protected.
The suitability of these filters to different applications changes depending on the mask they are fitted to. Please see the table below, which outlines some examples of suitable applications for these filters.
