SpeedFinder Vehicle Activated Radar Sign | Speed Roundel + Slow Down

The Speedfinder Roundel vehicle-activated sign is the latest addition to our range of semi-permanent radar-activated roadside signs. These signs are easily installed alongside busy roads and can indicate the speed of passing traffic while also showing a “Slow Down” message to help slow down speeding drivers.

When triggered, the Roundel version of the Speedfinder shows a SLOW DOWN message alongside a speed roundel showing the speed limit being exceeded. This lets the driver of the vehicle that triggered the sign know that they are going too fast and what the speed limit they should be adhering to is. 

The sign can trigger at, and display a range of speed limits, allowing it to be located and relocated around a village or industrial estate, covering all speed limit eventualities. The SpeedFinder system is a modular system that can be supplied in battery, solar and mains-powered configurations; it can also be retro-fitted post-purchase if needed should the installation criteria change.

With a single battery installed, this sign will last for 30 days before needing to be charged. This statistic is based on the sign’s exposure to 1500 speeding vehicles per day. Longer Illumination duration will decrease battery life.

You can set the display speed between 5 mph and 45 mph, making it suitable for any location—from a factory car park to a village road, and even a busy dual carriageway.

Select how long you want the sign to illuminate after it triggers. Keep in mind longer durations will deplete the battery faster.
