10mph Speed Limit Sign Post Mounted Diagram 670 R2/RA2

The 10 mph sign is primarily seen on private driveways, industrial estates and other areas where traffic speed needs to be restricted. This circular sign features a black 10 on a white reflective background with a red surround for maximum contrast. This 10mph sign is part of our range of speed limit signs and the wider permanent road sign range.

On a day to day basis you will likely see these signs on commercial trading estates, supermarket car parks and hospitals. They are usually used in conjunction with speed bumps to enforce the speed limit further.

We sell these 10mph signs in several sizes to suit most applications. Different sizes of these signs are needed depending on the position that the signs are to be placed at. (Refer to page 105 of TSRGD Guidelines Chapter 3) The sign is produced to the same criteria as those listed under Diagram 670 for permanent road signage.

R2 Class 2 Reflectivity

R2 (RA2) Reflectivity makes this sign suitable for use with vehicles and reflects around 32% of the light that hits the surface back to the driver. This material is also called HIP which stands for high intensity prismatic.

Post Mountable

Twin rear channels mean the sign face can be clamped in place and will not twist once secured. The clamps are available to supply separately and are not included with the sign face.

Composite Substrate

The backing of the sign is made from a rigid plastic sandwiched between two skins of aluminium making the sign strong and very durable. As there is no steel it will not rust giving a great lifespan.
