Flood Ahead Post Mounted Sign - Diagram 554A R2/RA2 (Face Only)
The ‘Flood Ahead’ sign to diagram 554A indicates where a road has flooded. The sign should only be present when the flood is, or is expected to in the near future. This sign is a part of our broad range of high-quality post-mounted signs.
The sign may be used with a distance plate to show how long the flooded road is to be expected, with or without an arrow pointing left or right. Where the flooded length of road ends, a ‘Try Your Brakes’ sign to diagram 554.1 should be used. However, if the depth of water makes the road impassable, a ‘ROAD AHEAD CLOSED’ sign will be more appropriate either side of the junction if traffic can be diverted.
This sign comes in 450-1500mm. The standard size is 600mm but larger sizes are sometimes needed depending on road conditions or accident history.
