Cycle Route Sign Post Mounted - Diagram 950 R2/RA2 (Face Only)

The cycle ahead triangular road sign, diagram number 950 is designed to let drivers know that a cycle route joins or crosses the carriageway from either the left or the right. This sign is typically only required if the joining/crossing traffic is not signal controlled.

If the cycle route joins or crossing the road from the right then they will need the variant with the bike facing towards the left. This would be reversed if the cycle route joins from left. The alternative use for this sign is for cycle events or cycle tests, these would be used with the according supplementary signs.

R2 (RA2) Reflectivity makes this sign suitable for use with vehicles and reflects around 32% of the light that hits the surface back to the driver. This material is also called HIP which stands for high intensity prismatic.

Post Mountable

Twin rear channels mean the sign face can be clamped in place and will not twist once secured. The clamps are available to supply separately and are not included with the sign face.

Composite Substrate

The backing of the sign is made from a rigid plastic sandwiched between two skins of aluminium making the sign strong and very durable. As there is no steel it will not rust giving a great lifespan.
