About Supplementary Signs

Supplementary signs sit below the main sign face to offer additional information, instructions, or warnings to road users. They might alert drivers to speed bumps or an adverse camber, or tell pedestrians that there’s no footway for 50 yards.

Some of our signs come with pre-printed messages, and are available in various sizes. These are kept in stock, ready for next-day delivery. For distance-related messaging, you can buy a sign with a blank space for you to add the distance.

We also make some supplementary signs to order. For example, you can choose the X-height (height of the text in mm) to suit the road where you want to install the sign. All our supplementary signs have R2 (RA2) reflectivity.
