Quayside Or River Bank Ahead Post Mounted Sign - Dia 555 R2/RA2 (Face Only)

Wherever a public road approaches a quayside or riverbank that is not protected by a barrier, the sign to diagram 555 is required.

To emphasise the edge of the road, the use of hazard markers to diagram 560, chevrons to diagram 515, or direction signs are beneficial to face traffic which may struggle to see.

The sign itself may be used with a distance plate with or without a left or right arrow, or with a left/right arrow by itself.

The diagram comes in 600mm but has options from 450mm to 1500mm. Sizing can be increased where it is difficult to see the standard 600mm or where accidents which should be prevented by the sign are recurring. Please contact our sales team to arrange alternative sizing.

R2 Class 2 Reflectivity

R2 (RA2) Reflectivity makes this sign suitable for use with vehicles and reflects around 32% of the light that hits the surface back to the driver. This material is also called HIP which stands for high intensity prismatic.

Post Mountable

Twin rear channels mean the sign face can be clamped in place and will not twist once secured. The clamps are available to supply separately and are not included with the sign face.

Composite Substrate

The backing of the sign is made from a rigid plastic sandwiched between two skins of aluminium making the sign strong and very durable. As there is no steel it will not rust giving a great lifespan.
