One Way Sign Round Post Mounted Diagram 606 R2/RA2

This post mounted road sign is used within one way systems, roundabouts, and complex junctions to indicate a compulsory direction of travel. The diagram number for this sign is 606 and the details for the exact usage of this one-way sign is detailed on page 16 in the ‘chapter 3 traffic signs manual’. The chapter 3 manual can be found in full on our regs page.

This sign is reversible and can be used to direct traffic either left or right, perfect for industrial estates where one way systems can often be complex and require clear signage.

The sign face is made from a composite of plastic sandwiched between two thin aluminium sheets. This face is then covered with grade R2 reflective material which gives exceptional visibility in all lighting conditions.

Each sign face has two channels on the rear that can be used with our sign clips to mount this to posts. Both the post and clamps are available separately and are not included.

R2 Class 2 Reflectivity

R2 (RA2) Reflectivity makes this sign suitable for use with vehicles and reflects around 32% of the light that hits the surface back to the driver. This material is also called HIP which stands for high intensity prismatic.

Post Mountable

Twin rear channels mean the sign face can be clamped in place and will not twist once secured. The clamps are available to supply separately and are not included with the sign face.

Composite Substrate

The backing of the sign is made from a rigid plastic sandwiched between two skins of aluminium making the sign strong and very durable. As there is no steel it will not rust giving a great lifespan.
