Blue Diamond Octaguard Rubber Anti-slip Matting 100x150cm

Our Octaguard matting is a durable, hard-wearing mat packed with features that make it suitable for every entranceway where dirt ingress is an issue. This super-hard-wearing mat is modular, allowing multiple units to be clipped together with connectors (sold separately) if required, allowing even the largest entranceways to be catered for. 

The Octoguard entrance mat's open-top construction makes it perfect for sitting outside entranceways to clear footwear of debris before they even make it to the door. Any dirt and debris collected simply falls into the mat and can be hosed or washed away due to the mat's free-flowing design.

The Octaguard is very slip-resistant, has anti-fatigue properties, and is suitable for use where heavy loads are present. It is perfect for sports centres, factories, warehouses, country parks, and many other outdoor settings. Optional brush inserts are available that can add a further shoe tread cleaning action to the mat and can also be arranged to make branding or logo designs.

This mat is rated a 3 out of 3 for slip resistance based on testing from ASTM C1028-89 and DIN-E-51130, 51097, and customer feedback. The higher the level, the better. This rating is ideal for areas that have a high risk of slipping.

Anti Fatigue Level 3

This mat has an anti-fatigue rating of 3 out of 3 (the best score), meaning it will help relieve pressure on feet and combat foot fatigue for those standing for long periods. This rating is based on testing from ASTM D3574, where the deflection of the mat is measured whilst a load is placed on it with a higher deflection, scoring a better rating.

This mat has a crush resistance rating of 3 out of 3, meaning it is suitable for heavy-duty applications with heavier loads applied to the matting.

Wear Resistant Level 3

This mat has been tested for abrasion resistance and scored a 3 out of 3 (the highest score). In accordance with ASTM D3844-92, accelerated wear testing includes subjecting a sample to an abrasive wheel for 5000 cycles. This wear-resistant mat is ideal for heavy-duty applications.

This rating indicates the weight of dust and dirt the mat can collect and cope with. With a score of 3 out of 3 (the best score), this mat is suitable for use in areas with a high level of dirt ingress that needs capturing.

This mat works best when used as a front-line defence against the heaviest of contaminants. It should be your first 1.5 metres of matting and should catch and retain 40% of dirt and water. It works best when put outside the front door.
