Melba Swintex’s Doggy Bin was built to streamline the disposal of dog waste for dog walkers in a simple yet hygienic way.
Available in 2 different mounting options, the bin can be mounted to a 3 inch (7.2cm) post or wall mounted to any wall that can support screws and weights of upwards of 25 kg when full. We recommend carefully considering the height at which you install the dog waste bin as dog waste has a high water content and so is naturally quite heavy. As this is a top-emptying bin, waste needs to be relatively easy to empty by waste management professionals without impacting their health in any way.
Designed with hygiene in mind, the bin features a dual-position lid that self-closes during normal use, but remains upright (open) for easy emptying - convenient for all stakeholders! The lid is made from recycled PVC.
The bin boasts a deodorising block in the underside of the lid, for odour control, and comes with a heavy duty red polythene outer sack, with a galvanised metal liner bucket inside. Coupled with Melba’s 40 Litre Bin Bags For Doggy Bins, the ensemble is designed to be almost odour proof, letting through very few smells when the lid is closed.
Please note This bin can be mounted to a wall or post without any modifications needed. For your convienience, a post will be provided as standard with the post mounted option, but no fixing equipment (screws, bolts, jubilee clips, etc.) is included with the wall mounted variant.
