Ridden Horses Prohibited Post Mounted Sign - Dia 622.6 R2/RA2 (Face Only)

This regulatory sign prevents access for ridden or accompanied horses to a road or pathway. The horse sign is diagram 622.6.

You are likely to see this sign where horse riders sometimes ride on a route intended for cycles and pedestrians only. This could cause a hazard by getting in the way or startling the horse in a confined area. The sign can be used on its own, without a supplementary plate, if the restriction is for all times or can be used with a supplementary plate to display a time period or exceptions to the rule.

As horses are unlikely to be travelling at speeds which would make seeing the standard size difficult, this sign is normally produced at 450mm or 600mm. If your brief requires a larger size, contact our sales team and we will have it ordered for you.

R2 (RA2) Reflectivity makes this sign suitable for use with vehicles and reflects around 32% of the light that hits the surface back to the driver. This material is also called HIP which stands for high intensity prismatic.

Post Mountable

Twin rear channels mean the sign face can be clamped in place and will not twist once secured. The clamps are available to supply separately and are not included with the sign face.

Composite Substrate

The backing of the sign is made from a rigid plastic sandwiched between two skins of aluminium making the sign strong and very durable. As there is no steel it will not rust giving a great lifespan.
