Description

200 Yards Count Down Marker With 2 Bars 824

This distance marker features two bars on a coloured background. Each bar represents 100 yards to the next junction or roundabout where traffic may leave the route.

This countdown sign face 824 is available in three colours these are with a blue background, green background, or white background with black bars. When placed on a verge they are considered left-handed, and on the central reservation, they are considered right-handed. These signs ensure road users know exactly how far a junction is away, allowing them to adjust their driving speed appropriately.

Which colour you should use is outlined fully in the TSRGD guidelines. This sign is always used as part of a set with sign faces 823 and 825.

Key features

R2 Class 2 Reflectivity

R2 (RA2) Reflectivity makes this sign suitable for use with vehicles and reflects around 32% of the light that hits the surface back to the driver. This material is also called HIP which stands for high intensity prismatic.

Post Mountable

Twin rear channels mean the sign face can be clamped in place and will not twist once secured. The clamps are available to supply separately and are not included with the sign face.

Composite Substrate

The backing of the sign is made from a rigid plastic sandwiched between two skins of aluminium making the sign strong and very durable. As there is no steel it will not rust giving a great lifespan.
