Description

Count Down Marker 300 yds Post Mounted Sign - Diagram 823 R2/RA2 (Face Only)

This distance marker features three white bars on a coloured background. Each bar represents 100 yards to the next junction or roundabout, giving drivers warning that they will need to slow down. They are seen on all roads from motorways in blue, and A-roads and dual carriageways in green.

This countdown sign face 823 is available in three colours, these are white with a blue background, white with a green background, or black with a white background. Choose Left for "verge side" markers and "right" for markers to be placed on a central reservation or right side of the road.

This sign is always used with sign faces 824 and 825 to form a complete set of three signs. Which colour you should use is outlined fully in the TSRGD guidelines, a copy of which is linked to on our regulations page.

R2 Class 2 Reflectivity

R2 (RA2) Reflectivity makes this sign suitable for use with vehicles and reflects around 32% of the light that hits the surface back to the driver. This material is also called HIP which stands for high intensity prismatic.

Post Mountable

Twin rear channels mean the sign face can be clamped in place and will not twist once secured. The clamps are available to supply separately and are not included with the sign face.

Composite Substrate

The backing of the sign is made from a rigid plastic sandwiched between two skins of aluminium making the sign strong and very durable. As there is no steel it will not rust giving a great lifespan.
