Carters Shocksafe Insulated No.2 Round Mouth Treaded Spade BS8020

If you need an insulated tool for cutting into heavy soils, then the Shocksafe No.2 Round-mouth spade is just what you need. Its pointed tip increases the penetrating ability of the blade to break ground, especially in compacted dense substrates.

This BS8020 insulated spade features a Shocksafe handle to protect you from electric shocks. This handle is insulated up to 10,000V; it features a solid fibreglass core and a polypropylene outer shell that provides electrical protection and is lightweight and exceptionally durable.

The blade of this No.2 Round Mouth Shocksafe shovel is made from a single piece of forged steel with integral forward-facing treads. These treads increase the surface area for you to engage your feet with, allowing you to drive the shovel harder with more precision and comfort. They also reinforce the blade, allowing a thinner blade to be used without compromising on strength, increasing the durability and reducing the weight simultaneously.
