Carters Shocksafe Insulated Chisel & Point Digging Bar BS8020

When digging a hole or trench by hand, a digging bar with a point or chisel end can make light work of hard soils or soils with lots of stones. This 60” digging bar gives you the best of both worlds, as it has a chisel at one end and a point at the other. The chisel end is excellent for carving out edges and leveraging stubborn stones, whilst the pointed end can be used to break up soil, allowing a spade to be used to remove the debris.

The handle of this Shocksafe digging bar is made from durable fibreglass that reduces the weight of this digging bar, making it easy to handle whilst also offering exceptional insulation against electrical shocks. This insulation allows the tool to meet BS8020:2011 tools for live working requirements, offering insulation against shocks up to 10,000V.

The heads on this tool are made from durable steel designed to withstand years of use. This tool is easy to wield at only 7.5kg yet carries enough weight and momentum to be effective when used.
