Nuts

Nuts

Our extensive range of nuts are essential for fastening road modifications like speed bumps and bollards into tarmac. Bolts and nuts come hand-in-hand, so it's imperative that you consult our specifications to find the correct nuts for your task. Nuts enable multiple parts to be fastened together, and our high-quality selection ensures that this connection lasts. We have specialised nuts for installations into concrete and tarmac, but these can also function just as well in other solid materials.

  • About Nuts

We stock a wide selection of nuts and other fixings that allow you to securely bolt your project together. Our extensive range has everything you need, from specialist nuts that will enable you to bolt to concrete and tarmac to more traditional nuts that allow you to bolt barrier systems such as Armco together.

As our range is fully stocked most items can be delivered the next day or even collected the same day, ensuring you can crack on with the task at hand without delaying your project by waiting for fixings.

We take pride in offering a range of our nuts in singles, ensuring you can purchase just what you need to get the job done without having thousands of fixings hanging around that either get lost or never used. Of course, if you are looking for a bulk quantity, we offer discounts for volume purchases.

Key Considerations When Purchasing Your Fixing Nuts

    Environment

Make sure the nuts you purchase are suitable for the environment in which you will install them. For example, some metals cannot be used in food production environments, and stainless steel should be used instead.

    Thread

Ensure you are purchasing the right thread, metric is most common (and the standard in almost all applications).

    Size

Ensure you are buying the right size nut for your associated fixing. Nuts are almost always measured by their internal diameter.

    Application

Do you need something with high tensile strength or with specialist features such as a nyloc insert to prevent it from coming undone with vibrations

    Coatings

Consider what coating would be best suited to your use case. Options can include hot-dip galvanised and BZP, to name just a couple.

    Material

Will the nuts be installed in a marine environment or somewhere stainless steel is required? Ensure both your nuts and bolts share a common material type to avoid bi-metallic corrosion.
