Autopa Haddon Wall Mounted Backless Bench
The Haddon wall-mounted bench, part of the Autopa Open Spaces Haddon collection, is an elegantly designed seating solution designed to be installed in high population density, confined spaces that see a lot of foot traffic.
With its flat seat positioned at an angle sloping downwards, this bench is designed to be leaned against, similar to our range of perch benches. Perfect for installation with other items of street furniture like bus shelters, smoking shelters, rubbish bins or bike racks.
Available in galvanised steel, coloured powder-coated galvanised steel, or stainless steel, this fully-steel bench is built with the durability required to withstand daily use in high-traffic spaces, as well as year-round outdoor weather conditions.
Available in either 1m or 1.8m lengths, the Haddon wall-mounted backless bench can be installed in areas that lack available space (such as high-density city centres or shopping areas), taking up less physical space than most other types of benches whilst still providing a relatively comfortable experience.

Designing Your Open Space
The Autopa Haddon Wall Mounted backless bench is only available in a bolt-down format, as this is the mechanism used to affix it to a wall. Ensure your (12mm) bolts are a suitable length to not structurally damage the wall! Get yours here.
Consider the surface to which this bench will be attached; it must be a sturdy and rigid surface capable of accommodating the screws and supporting the weight of the fully loaded bench. Additionally, it should be located in a suitable place where the wall isn't damaged and users' clothing won't get dirty when they lean against it.
When placing benches near beaches, roads, or areas with high salinity levels, we recommend a stainless steel finish. This choice improves protection against salt, rust, and corrosion.
