No Footway For Yards Supplementary Plate 547.3
This permanent No Footway road sign states that there is “No footway” and the distance for which that applies. This sign should only be used in conjunction with sign faces 544.1 or 545.
The purpose of this sign is to warn drivers that for the stated amount of distance there is no footpath, and therefore they may find pedestrians walking along the edge of the road. This can be common on some country roads.
