Traffic Under Signal Control' Sign Diagram 7021 | Quick Fit (face only) | 1050x750mm
This traffic sign is used to warn drivers exiting an "uncontrolled" junction that the traffic on the road they are joining is being controlled by traffic lights. This alerts drivers that cars may all come from one direction, or may suddenly obstruct the road if it is a single lane only.
This sign is always used in conjunction with sign face diagram 7001, and may be used with signs "Joining traffic not under signal control" which serves to warn drivers that the traffic joining is not regulated by traffic signals.
For full guidance on the sizing of these signs and how they should be positioned the chapter 8 manual should be consulted carefully.
