The StreetWise range of flat top bollards brings easy maintenance and extreme durability to its apex. Unlike traditionally painted metal bollards, the StreetWise range of bollards is made from a thick “through coloured” Terrathane material cast around a steel core. This means that even if the surface is scratched, the plastic beneath is the same colour.
This unique design means that the StreetWise Flat Top bollards will not rust and require expensive painting and maintenance. The most they should ever need is washing with a wet cloth or pressure washer.
This highly durable outer shell is cast onto a steel core giving the bollard strength, whilst not compromising the resistance to weathering. Terrathane is a type of specialist Polyurethane unique to these bollards, it can withstand severe impacts without shattering.
Car parks, factories and airports are three of only many examples. Their simplistic modern styling and reflective bands make them appropriate for any location where vehicles are present.
The streetwise range looks right at home around shopping centre entrances. It can also be placed on kerbs or cycle roots to prevent vehicle access whilst still allowing pedestrian and bicycles to pass by.
There are several options to choose from when selecting a bollard from the streetwise range, these include different diameters and retro-reflective tape colours. There is also the option to purchase a flat top variant which can be seen here.
Fixing types are simple and include cast in for permanent installations and removable. The removable option is a great choice for sites that require access to areas for service vehicles and special events. Full fitting instructions can be found in the downloads section of this page.
Installation is easy as these bollards all weigh in less than 20Kg (see weight table below). This facilitates the fitting of the bollards by a single worker, something that would be impossible with cast bollards.

Key things to ensure when installing these bollards is that there are no services running below the surface where they are to be installed.
This range of bollards is a sister line to the streetwise dome and streetwise flat top bollards. The key difference is the ImpactFlex range has no steel core, so can flex and then self-right.
