Sixton Auckland Skipper 94378-00L S3 SRC Safety Trainer

If you are looking for a lightweight protective safety trainer that is comfortable for long working days and even for driving then the Auckland Skipper from Sixton may be just what you need. Part of our extensive range of work safety footwear & PPE.

Weighing in at only 560g, the Auckland offers a running-trainer like fit and look but does not sacrifice safety. The upper is made from Microfibre suede giving you a breathable surround to your feet that regulate temperature whilst you work. Offering you additional safety is the aluminium toe cap, resistant to up to 200J upon impact protecting your toes as well as the other heavy-duty Sixton safety boots from the Polar range.

Being a low cut shoe, this trainer may not offer the highest level of support when worn in uneven or rough terrains, making it more suited towards internal environments with stable surfaces. Although this shoe is focused on internal environments, it has still been SRC tested on ceramic and steel surfaces with soapy solutions ensuring the shoe can maintain the highest levels of grip at all times regardless of the condition of the surface.

The Skipper range, a line designed to be light and sporty but always safe. Inspired by the sailing world, this range features lightweight, breathable fabrics mixed with a comfortable sporty design giving you a nice blend between casual and industrial footwear.

Aluminium toe cap resistant to 200J. A non-metal insert tested for perforation against a carpenters nail with a diameter of 3.0mm with 1100N of pressure.
