Procity’s Voute "Large" Smoking Shelter presents a modern, high-quality design that offers functionality wrapped up in a clean, stylish design. Aesthetically pleasing yet durable, this smoking and vaping shelter provides a spacious, sheltered environment for smokers and vapers, ensuring protection from the elements for its occupants. The smoking shelter features a distinctive deep barreled roof characterising the Voute collection.
With a depth nearing 3 metres, this shelter accommodates more people than the similarly styled Voute “M” Smoking Shelter while maintaining personal space, making it the highest-capacity option among Procity's smoking shelters. Available in 2.5m and 5m lengths, with an entrance width of 1m, it caters to various spatial needs.
This shelter boasts two accessories that have been specifically designed for it:
This is a space-efficient, one person perch solution that fits well into the corner of any shelter.
Can be installed to improve the visibility of the shelter to passersby, and to increase safety within the shelter itself. This is very often paired with CCTV.
Bins are an essential part of any open space and should always be considered when installing any item of street furniture, whether it be benches, signage or shelters.
If you are looking for a cigarette bin, an essential eco-friendly addition to your smoking shelter, you may want to also check out categories like recycling bins and litter bins, where you might find something adapted to your needs.
Perch benches are the ultimate accessory to pair with a smoking shelter, as they provide more comfort in an area where space is at a premium. White cigarette decals can also be added to inform pedestrians as to the use of the shelter.
If over 50% of the walls of a public space are present, smoking in the area is prohibited in the UK.
Any enclosure with more than a 50% wall covering is deemed 'substantially enclosed', which means it must comply with the Health Act 2006 and the Smoke-free (Premises and Enforcement) Regulations 2006, requiring it to be designated as a smoke-free space.
The product on the right is the Medium Voute Smoking Shelter, very similar to the Large Voute, but with a narrower structure, it can be erected without its front cladding in order to make it compliant with UK regulations.
