This face fit testing kit allows a competent person to quickly determine if a face mask fits properly and has an effective seal. Specifically designed for use with tight-fitting respirators (such as the Force 8), this qualitative face fit testing kit uses bitter-smelling/tasting fluids to check if a mask is working properly. If the person wearing the hood can smell the fluids, then there is a leak somewhere, meaning the mask needs adjusting or a different size is required.

The fluids used are harmless and similar to those used to stop people from chewing their fingernails. Overall, this hood kit is a very cost-effective way to ensure that staff are adequately protected while doing their jobs.
