This premium elasticated 2-point chin strap from JSP features a chin cup for improved comfort and can easily be adjusted to suit different head sizes. These chin straps are excellent for keeping your safety helmet in place when on-site, especially if you have a reasonably active role.
The JSP Deluxe chin strap with a chin cup will break away automatically when subjected to between 150 and 200 Newtons of force. This break-away function prevents the wearer from becoming trapped or hung in the event of an accident.
Fitting this strap is very easy as it clips straight onto the helmet with two points on either side of the temples on the helmet. To get a proper fit, you should place the helmet on your head and pull the chin strap under your chin before finally adjusting the strap to be snug but not overly tight.
