Carters Shocksafe Insulated 7lb Navvy Pick With Chisel & Point BS8020

This Shocksafe Navvy pick is the ideal tool for breaking up hard ground whilst hand excavating trenches for utilities, drainage and other infrastructure. Its 7lb head features a chisel end for cutting into surfaces and a pointed end that can break hard deposits.

The handle of this Navvy Pick features a durable fibreglass core with an injection moulded polypropylene outer. This makes it fully BS8020:2011 compliant, meaning it is suitable for working around live conductors and will offer protection against shocks should the user accidentally strike a live cable.

The head features a BS standard 3”x2” eye and is a tap-on fit onto the handle. If you are changing the head or fitting a replacement shaft, a competent person should properly dress the eye.
