Carters Shocksafe Insulated 10kg Chamfered Edge Pipe Breaker BS8020

If you have an obsolete piece of drainage pipe blocking your excavation, then this 10kg Shocksafe pipe breaker is the tool for the job. With its heavy weighted end, this pipe breaker allows you to break up and dismantle old pipes from a safe distance.

This tool's 54” long solid fibreglass shaft makes it easy to handle and just the right height to work with. More importantly, it insulates the user from the head of the tool, ensuring that the user is protected should they make contact with a live wire. It allows the tool to meet the insulative requirements of BS8020:2011 for working in close proximity to live conductors.

This tamper's heavyweight head brings the tool's total weight up to 10.8 kg, plenty enough to get the job done without being too heavy. The head measures 90mm x 90mm x 175mm, allowing it to pack a punch in a small area.
