This Carters No.4 Pit Lifting tool makes light work of removing heavy covers from joint box pits. The extended handle allows you to leverage the tool, removing the strain that can be associated with traditional lifting keys.

A cleaning tool is included, allowing you to clean the keyway of the pit cover before using it. This tool's bright yellow powder-coated finish makes it harder to misplace when working on-site, ensuring you always have the tool to hand when needed.

This tool can be used with a separate roller to slide the joint box pit cover to one side, or alternatively, a pair of these lifters can be used between two people to lift and move the cover to the side.
