Blue Diamond Anti-Slip GRP Decking Strips 3mm

These slimline Anti-Slip GRP decking strips can be added to wooden decking to enhance the traction available instantly. They are a durable and hard-wearing solution that far exceeds the performance offered by alternative grip enhancements, such as stapled chicken wire.

Available in a range of lengths, colours, and widths, these strips are easily installed in almost any location (and can be mounted onto other surfaces, not just decking, if required). At only 3mm thick, they do not pose any trip risk and come in vibrant colours that enhance their visibility, ensuring they stand out against busy backgrounds.

Installation is very easy as they can screwed or stuck in place using the appropriate adhesive. They can be easily cut on-site if required, allowing them to be installed into unusually sized spaces. Being designed for outdoor use, they can tolerate UV light, as well as cold, hot and wet weather with ease.

Slip Resistant Level 3

This mat is rated a 3 out of 3 for slip resistance based on testing from ASTM C1028-89 and DIN-E-51130, 51097, and customer feedback. The higher the level, the better. This rating is ideal for areas that have a high risk of slipping.

Wear Resistant Level 3

This mat has been tested for abrasion resistance and scored a 3 out of 3 (the highest score). In accordance with ASTM D3844-92, accelerated wear testing includes subjecting a sample to an abrasive wheel for 5000 cycles. This wear-resistant mat is ideal for heavy-duty applications.

Chemical Resistant

This mat is resistant to certain chemicals; for a full list of chemicals, please see the datasheet or contact us for more details.

UV Resistant

This UV-resistant matting makes it suitable for outdoor use or in areas with heavy UV exposure.

Flame Retardant

This mat has flame-retardant properties, slowing and restricting the spread of fire.

Impact Resistant

Suitable for areas where there is a high chance of impacts striking the matting, it will also protect the underlying surface from impacts.

Non Conductive (Electrical)

This matting is electrically non-conductive, allowing it to insulate you from the ground or surface you are working on.
