There are different types of metal benches - iron benches are the most durable while steel benches are most resistant to rust and scratches.     Our range of handpicked commercial-grade outdoor metal benches offer many advantages over those made using other materials. These include extremely low maintenance costs and the highest durability against the elements, vandalism, and animal waste among our selection of outdoor seating. Although metal bench seats may have a higher initial cost, their ongoing maintenance costs are close to nil. 

    Most of our metal outdoor seating options have a galvanised steel finish, which can be powder-coated for a touch of colour. We recommend upgrading to a stainless steel finish for benches installed in high-density or high-salinity areas like coastal towns, as stainless steel outdoor benches offer the highest durability against erosion and salt throughout our whole range of street furniture.

    Incorporating metal benches into urban pedestrian zones improves the look of the space and adds functionality to the shared space. When installing your bench, consider that outdoor metal benches are relatively sensitive to temperature changes, meaning they warm up in the sun and cool down in the cold.
