JSP Force 8 Typhoon Half Mask With PressToCheck ABEK1P3 Filters
The JSP Force 8 Half Mask With PressToCheck ABEK1P3 Filters kit includes a standard medium sized Force 8 Typhoon Masks and a pair of ABEK1P3 Press To Check filters. These filters contain materials that can neutralize and filter out organic gasses with a boiling point > 65C, inorganic gasses (excluding carbon monoxide), sulphur dioxide and acidic gasses, ammonia and organic ammonia derivatives, as well as larger dust particles.
The Force 8 mask included in this kit is comfortable to wear and easily adjustable . The mask is fitted with a soft rubber form that moulds to the face, allowing the mask to easily fit to different face shapes. When used with the supplied ABEK1P3 filters, this mask is ideal for chemical paint stripping or whilst using brick acid products.
The supplied ABEK1P3 filters feature JSP’s well-renowned Press-To-Check functionality. This simple yet effective feature allows you to test the fit and functionality of your mask setup during each use. This is achieved by blocking the airflow through the filter when the casing is pinched, quickly highlighting if there are any air leaks.
Key Features Of The JSP Force 8 Typhoon Mask With ABEK1P3 Filters
Comfortable Design
The soft rubber material used for this mask makes it comfortable to wear whilst working. The head and neck straps are easily adjusted to achieve a good seal without overtightening.
Range Of Filters
Choose from an exceptionally wide range of filters, from JSP’s classic line, to the press-to-check filters they are famous for. All with a range of filtration standards.
CR2 Reflectives
Each mask features four reflective sections that bounce light back at its source, ensuring the mask (and the wearer) is visible even in low light conditions.
Durable Harness
The elasticated harness is easy to position and readily adjusted. The elasticated nature of the harness ensures that it applies even pressure to the mask, ensuring a good fit.
Typhoon Valve
The typhoon valve on this mask ensures that exhaled moisture and heat is vented to the outside world, reducing breathing resistance and extending the lifespan of the filters being used.
Spare Parts Available
With sustainability in mind, there are a plethora of spare parts available for these Force 8 Mass. These include filters, harnesses and diaphragms.
Conforms
This mask is supplied with CE marks and conforms to EN 140. A use guide, as well as a maintenance guide, are included in the packaging of the mask.

Easily Cleaned
This mask can be completely stripped down to its core component parts for easy cleaning and maintenance. This allows you to inspect the mask, ensuring everything is working as it should.
Compatibility
This mask system is cross-compatible with much of the JSP PPE range, allowing you to wear face shields, ear defenders, goggles, and helmets simultaneously.
Press To Check
Simply pinch the filter cartridges and breath in; the mask should then collapse onto the face indicating a good seal. If you can still breathe in, it indicates a poor fit or other issues.
Filter Media Protection
The hard case ensures that the filter media is protected from water droplet splashes and physical damage, ensuring performance is not prematurely reduced.
Valved Filters
Inlet valves in the filters ensure that exhaled breath does not contaminate the filters with moisture which will degrade the filtration performance.
Easy Installation
The filters can be quickly and conveniently swapped out by simply twisting them and unlocking them from the mask. Installation is just as simple.
