You can use this 10m fall limiter in both vertical and horizontal applications; it comes complete with a shock absorber and all connectors to get you going. This system is ideal for roofers and has been tested for use on sharp edges, such as those often encountered on terraced roofs. This model is also available in a 5m configuration.

This self-retractable line can be placed at the top of a roofline where it will freely reel out or in cable as required, allowing free movement whilst you carry out your work. As soon as the block detects an abrupt load, such as those generated during a fall, it will lock in much the same way as a seatbelt in a car does, limiting the distance of a fall. In case enough energy is built up during a fall event, a shock absorber within the system will automatically deploy, absorbing energy from the fall. You should take extra ground clearance into consideration because of this feature.

The reel enclosure is made from tough plastic, protecting the internals during transit, storage and installation. An aluminium screw gate connector at the anchorage point offers a secure connection method to any suitable structure. A fall indicator on the steel swivel snap hook allows you to assess if the unit has experienced excessive force and requires taking out of action or servicing during pre-use inspections. A Carry handle on the side of the housing makes transporting and handling the block easier.
