Low Gear For 1 1/2 Miles Supplementary Sign Diagram 527
This permanent road sign is used only in conjunction with 523.1 and 524.1 where there is a steep upward or downward gradient. The sign informs drivers that they may need to keep their vehicle in a low gear to help regulate the speed of their vehicle during the decline.
The size of the text on this sign can be adjusted to suit the installation site. The X height of the sign (which refers to the mm height of the font) will have an impact on the overall size of the plate.
