JSP Post and Chain Support Post - Optional Base

Please note: You must select if you would like the post WITH a base, or if you would like it without the base

Available in both red and white or black and yellow, it has numerous uses. Combined with the matching chain and base, this can be used for:

  • Crowd or queuing channeling
  • Sectioning or cordoning areas 'off limits'
  • Visible divider to segregate large spaces or areas

Commonly used in car parks, hospitals, warehouses and other similar facilities.

Please don't forget to order the matching base and any chain that you might need. Alternatively, buy one of our kits.

This chain is part of the JSP 'Post and Chain' system - other items that you may want to buy with this are the Support Base and Cone Chain Support.

What is the length of the chain between the posts?
Rob
  • Hi Rob, it is up to you how far apart you want to space the posts - you can attach the post at any point along the chain. Normally this is at a maximum of every 5 metres. We sell the chain separately in 5 or 25 metre lengths.

Is it possible to change the height of the Post?
Sorry, it's me again! Could I trim some off the height of the post before fitting it to the base. At the moment we use a 750mm cone and chain. Thanks Marion
Marion
  • Yes, the post itself can be cut down at either end. The part that holds the chain is separate and pushes on with a tight fit.

Do the Post and Base lock together?
I am interested in buying one of these posts to stop cars turning in my drive. When it is fitted in the base, could I move the base and post without them coming apart?
Marion
  • Hi Marion, yes, the post and base push together with a very tight fit so you can lift them together.
