EcoGrid Grass & Gravel Drainage Cover Fully Galvanised | Inc. Membrane, Grid
Similar to the GrassTop drainage covers, the EcoGrid Grass & Gravel Manhole covers allow you to disguise your drain cover as more of the surrounding area such as grass, artificial grass, gravel or even permeable paving such as an EcoGrid E50. This inspection hole cover has the same permeable properties and factory fitted membrane as the GrassTop however this recessed cover features a cellular paving grid allowing you to fill it with the same aggregate as the one used on the rest of your driveway, patio, pathways and more. Lifting keys are not included.
We offer this cover in a wide range of size starting with a square to round 220 to 300mm all the way up to 900 x 900mm for the larger drains and manholes, all of the drainage covers in this range have a depth of 80-100mm which should sit in the inspection hole comfortably and flush with the rest of the surface.
Like the cellular paving grids, this drainage cover has a load-bearing capacity of 250 tonnes making it ideal for driveways and car parks. The tray for this cover is made with galvanised steel making it a solid, durable drain cover that can withstand light vehicular traffic. Factory fitted Membrane
Each inspection cover is supplied with a factory-fitted membrane in the bed of the tray which allows you to fill the tray without worrying about blocking the drainage holes. Although the membrane covers the holes, it is permeable which allows water to evenly pass through the membrane, through the holes and out of the tray stopping any chances of flooding or surface water build-up.
Pre-Installed Paving Grid
These drainage covers are supplied with pre-installed paving grids allowing you to fill the cover with the aggregate used in the surrounding areas and match the look of it giving you a seamless, hidden drainage cover that is not obviously a drainage cover.
Pre-Drilled Drainage Holes
These inspection covers have pre-drilled drainage holes in the bottom of the galvanised tray meaning this tray will serve its purpose straight out of the packaging. The holes in the tray are spaced out equally helping the tray drain the rain or surface water with ease at a steady rate.
