Traffic Line Steel Hoop Guard Barriers
These standard duty traffic line steel hoop guard warehouse barriers are a core part of our warehouse protection offering. They are ideal for segregating pedestrian traffic from areas where machines or vehicles are operating. They are right at home installed in warehouses, factories, airports, and distribution centres.
Manufactured from a 48mm diameter steel tube with a wall thickness of 2mm these barriers are well made and hard-wearing. There are three installation types to choose from which we have detailed below.
The barrier is available in two different finishes both visually look the same, which one you require will depend on if you are installing the barrier indoors or outdoors. For outdoor use you will need the galvanised and powder coated option. For Indoor use, you will need the “powder-coated only” option.
Key Features Of The Steel Hoop Guard Barrier:
- Easy To Install - Whichever of the three mounting options you choose, installation is simple requiring only 8 fixing bolts in most instances.
- High Visibility - A Vibrant powder coated yellow finish with black bands ensures that this guard rail is eye-catching and stands out regardless of the setting.
- Suitable For Indoor & Outdoor Use - This barrier can be installed either indoors or outdoors. Be sure to pick the appropriate finish (indoor - powder coated only, outdoor - galvanised and powder coated).
- Suitable For Pedestrian Control - Use this barrier to prevent pedestrians from falling off of loading bays or walking into areas with high traffic.
- Three Fixing Methods - Bolt down floor mount, Bolt down wall mount, suitable for loading bays, removable wall mount.
- Three Sizes Available - Each fixing type has three sizes available, 1000mm, 1500mm and 2000mm long.
- Fixings Sold Separately - 8 Fixings are required for each traffic line steep hoop guard. You can find them here.
- Hot Dip Galvanised Available - For outdoor installations, we strongly recommend using the hop dip galvanised yellow powder-coated option for enhanced corrosion protection.
Fixing Options Available For Steel Hoop Guards:
Floor Mounted
Features a 10mm base plate at the foot of each leg for a secure floor mount. Requires two bolts in each leg to anchor the barrier to the floor.
Wall Mounted
Purpose-built for installation on loading bays. This comes with pre-attached flanges that can be bolted to the vertical face of a ledge or loading bay.
Removable Wall Mounted
This removable option requires two wall-mounted sockets that the hoop barrier locks into. Ideal for areas where a permanent barrier would not be suitable.
