2.4m Open Box Beam Barrier Rail - Armco Systems
Aside from being shorter in length, this 2.4-metre open box beam barrier length is identical to the larger 4.8-metre beams available. It offers the same great impact resistance and flexibility when choosing where to locate supporting posts.
When installing an open box beam barrier we recommend that posts are set at consistent distances, with the most common being 1.2m centres. The benefit of this beam system is that the mounting plates can be moved to any location, allowing posts to be located ay any point along the back of a rail. This makes installation far easier, as there is no requirement to mount posts exactly where a mounting hole is positioned on a rail.
This open box beam crash barrier system is compatible with our wide range of Armco barrier posts. It is suitable for mounting in both commercial and industrial environments where it can be used to protect structures and machinery from being impacted by vehicles such as forklifts, trucks and cars.
